Coolers
The use of coolers results in a gradual and uniform cooling and reduces the risk of moisture condensation and damage after packing. Hot product is continuously introduced trough a rotary valve at the top of the cooler and cooled in a bed controlled by level and temperature sensors, while ambient air enters below the material bed and flows upward towards the discharge opening. Product is gently discharged by means of a grate consisting of swivel plates, minimizing breakage. The discharge rate as well as the opening/closing positions of the plates are performed by a robust hydraulic actuator and can be manually or automatically controlled.
